Laureen Quick
Coach | Author | Speaker

The Encore Book Club is facilitated by Life Transformation Coach and volunteer LEARN member, Laureen Quick.  Laureen is an advocate for women over 50 and is the Founder of Next Chapter Sisters, Brilliant Beyond 50 Weekly E-Newsletter, Your Next Chapter Blog

At 60, Laureen Quick experienced a transformative awakening that inspired her to stop talking about her dreams and start living them. After years of postponing her personal goals, she realized time was precious and she had the power to create the life she truly desired. This insight led her to embark on a life-changing journey, beginning with a trip to Machu Picchu with her youngest daughter. From that moment, Laureen embraced new adventures—hiking, traveling, coaching, and writing—all while redefining her purpose and living with passion, adventure, and fulfillment.

As a transformational life coach, Laureen works with women 50+ to help them reimagine themselves and pursue their dreams. Through coaching, community-building, and personal growth, she supports women in navigating their next chapters. Laureen shares her experiences, insights, and lessons learned through her weekly e-newsletter, Brilliant Beyond 50, and her blog, Your Next Chapter and The Next Chapter Entrepreneur. Her story demonstrates that it’s never too late to start over and that embracing change, even later in life, can lead to a fulfilling, meaningful life.

Laureen is passionate about supporting women in their journey to create lives they love, no matter where they are in life. As an avid traveler, hiker, and lifelong learner, she continues to embrace new opportunities for growth and encourages others to do the same. She is excited to offer her insights and experiences as a part of the Encore Book Club for Learn Idaho, helping women over 50 explore themes of personal growth, aging, and reinvention through literature. The
